We are excited to announce that Blue Hills Adult Education has received a grant from First Literacy to fund Digital Literacy for the Future, a 4-week summer course designed to meet a critical need for our students.

Many of our students have limited digital literacy skills. This can make it challenging for them to access the online resources that teachers use and often limits them to in-person classes, preventing them from taking advantage of online learning opportunities.

This new program provides hands-on training to help students:

  • Navigate and use digital tools with confidence
  • Access online learning platforms and resources
  • Improve their ability to participate in both in-person and virtual classes
  • Strengthen their English language learning through expanded access to resources

Thanks to the generous support of First Literacy, our students are gaining the digital skills they need to succeed in the classroom, in the workplace, and in their daily lives.

Thank you, First Literacy, for investing in our students’ future!
